Lethbridge & Medicine Hat have Alberta’s highest growth in housing prices. Between all property types, houses in Lethbridge sold for around $391,104, increasing by 19.1 per cent over the last year. Homes in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat were still below the provincial average of $493,549, which increased by 8.3 per cent. Learn More
The price to rent a one-bedroom apartment or condo in Lethbridge is averaging $1,402/month. That is up by 19.5 per cent from the same time last year. Learn More
Lethbridge is now administering the Rural Renewal Stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program. This initiative offers approved employers in eligible industries the ability to seek out non-permanent residents to fill labour gaps in eligible occupations within designated industries. This program provides employers access to a wider labour pool, while offering eligible workers a pathway to employment and permanent residency. Learn More
Economic Development Lethbridge report on Labour Market Trends. In the last 12 months there has been an upward trend in the number of new job posts, active job posts, and companies hiring. There are 24 growing sectors with "educational services" leading the way, and 353 growing occupations with "food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations" having the most amount of postings.
